Why Choose Us For Riverside County Inmate Search

A booking search is only useful if someone can act on it. We locate the person, read back the bail figure, and post the bond at the same facility — all on one call.

We Work All Five County Facilities

Presley, Smith in Banning, Benoit in Indio, Byrd in Murrieta, and the Blythe jail each run their own release rhythm. We know which one holds your person and how long that facility actually takes.

We Track The 2025 Release Reforms

Riverside County now uses Cite and Release, Book and Release, and Pre-Arraignment Review. Many bookings resolve without bail at all — and we will tell you when that is the likely outcome instead of selling you a bond.

Local Office, Not A Call Center

Our Market Street office is in Riverside, minutes from Presley. When a bond has to be walked into a facility at 3 a.m., a local agent does it.

Desert And Pass Coverage

Indio, Banning, Blythe, and the Coachella Valley are a long way from downtown Riverside. We post there too, and we are honest about drive time when it affects the release window.

1% Down On Approved Credit

The 10% premium is set by state-filed rates. The down payment is what we can work with — starting as low as 1%, balance on a written plan with no surprise fees.

Straight Answers On Holds

A parole hold, an immigration detainer, or a §1275 source-of-funds hold stops a release no matter what you pay. We check for those before taking a dollar.

Visitation Rules & Inmate Services

Riverside County facilities operate on scheduled visiting, and the schedule is housing-unit specific. Confirm the day and time before making the drive to Banning, Indio, or Blythe.

Reserve Before You Drive

Visits at the county facilities are scheduled rather than walk-up, and slots are tied to the housing unit. Bring valid government photo ID; minors must be accompanied by a documented parent or guardian.

Distance Is The Real Constraint

Blythe is roughly three hours from Riverside and Indio is close to two. If the person is being transported between facilities on your visit day, the visit will not happen — verify the current housing location the morning of.

Money On The Books

Commissary deposits go through the Sheriff's contracted vendor by kiosk, phone, or web. Cash is not accepted at the counter, and deposits can take a shift to appear on the account.

Phone Calls Are Recorded

Calls from custody are collect or prepaid through the jail's phone provider and are recorded and monitored. Never discuss case facts on a jail line — that includes bail conversations.

Mail And Property

Incoming mail is inspected. Personal property stays bagged until release and cannot be handed to a visitor. Attorney mail is handled under separate legal-mail rules.

Medical Needs At Intake

Report prescriptions and conditions to intake staff immediately. Medical or mental-health housing decisions can delay release well past the bond posting, particularly at Presley.

Bail Options After Inmate Location

Riverside County's release picture changed in 2025. Many bookings now resolve through Cite and Release, Book and Release, or Pre-Arraignment Review without any bail being posted at all — and knowing which path applies is the difference between paying a premium and waiting a few hours.

Cite And Release (CR)

For qualifying lower-level offenses, the arrestee is cited in the field with a court date and never booked into custody. There is no bail to post and no bond to buy.

Book And Release (BR)

The person is booked, processed, and released on a written promise to appear rather than on bail. If the record shows a BR disposition, the release is coming without a bond.

Pre-Arraignment Review (PAR)

For cases that do not qualify for CR or BR, a reviewer evaluates release conditions before arraignment. The outcome can be release on own recognizance, supervised release, or continued custody with bail set.

When Bail Is Still The Answer

Serious felonies, holds, and cases outside the reform paths still run on the Riverside County uniform bail schedule under Penal Code §1269b(c), with the court free to adjust under §1275 and In re Humphrey (2021).

Bail Amount10% PremiumDown At 1%
$20,000$2,000$200
$50,000$5,000$500
$100,000$10,000$1,000

Down payments start as low as 1% of the bail on approved credit — a down payment, not a discounted premium. California fixes the premium itself at 10% of the bail under rates filed with the Department of Insurance per Cal. Ins. Code §1800, so there is no legal $0-down bail bond in California. Anyone advertising one is describing a payment plan. For the full 1% through 10% tier comparison see affordable bail bonds, 1% bail bonds, and what "no money down" actually means.
