The Corona Courthouse occupies suite 201 at 505 South Buena Vista Avenue. The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside lists four categories of matters served here: small claims, unlawful detainers, civil, and traffic. That is the entire list, and it does not include criminal.
We are a bail bond company, so we will be blunt about what that means. If a family member was arrested by the Corona Police Department, this building is not where the criminal case will be heard. Criminal calendars for the western county sit at the Riverside Hall of Justice at 4100 Main Street in downtown Riverside, roughly a 25-minute drive up the 91.
The building is a multi-agency facility, and the court occupies the second level only. Its courtroom directory lists two departments — C1 and C2 — both on the second floor. That is a small footprint compared with a full-service justice center, which is exactly why the criminal work is not here.
Corona is one of the Riverside County cities that runs its own police department and its own jail rather than contracting with the Sheriff. The court publishes building hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and separately limits clerk's office phone hours to 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., excluding court holidays. Those are two different clocks — the window is open longer than the phone line.

Vehicles displaying a handicapped placard or license plate may park in any space. The main court entry is on the east side of the building and a wheelchair ramp serves that entrance.

That is normally the Corona Police Department jail in the hours right after booking, or the Robert Presley Detention Center on Orange Street in downtown Riverside once the county takes custody.
