How Bail Works At LA County Courts

California bail rules apply at every courthouse in Los Angeles County. A bond can be posted at the jail, or through a licensed bail bondsman, before the next court date.

Los Angeles County uses the California Department of Insurance-regulated 10% premium. A bail amount of $25,000 generally requires a $2,500 premium. We offer payment plans starting at 1% down for qualified bonds, and our office near the downtown court cluster can post bonds directly at the Inmate Reception Center and Twin Towers.

Missing a court date at any of these courthouses can result in a bench warrant and possible bail forfeiture. If a warrant is issued, contact us immediately about a failure-to-appear bail bond before the situation escalates.

Need Help Right Now?

Our agents are available 24 hours a day to confirm which courthouse is handling a case, whether a warrant has been issued, and what it takes to post a bond before the next court date.
