Licensed agents on every shift, honest answers about where your family member actually is, and financing built for families who didn't plan on an arrest this week.
Yucca Valley is an incorporated town, but it does not run a police department. Policing is contracted to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and delivered from the Morongo Basin Station at 63665 Twentynine Palms Hwy in Joshua Tree — the same station, same building, and same phone number that covers Twentynine Palms and the unincorporated communities of Morongo Valley, Landers, Joshua Tree, Wonder Valley, and Pioneertown. We say this plainly because it is the kind of shared-coverage arrangement families discover the slow way, after calling a town hall that cannot tell them anything. The station is part of the county's Joshua Tree Law and Justice Complex, which also houses courtrooms and a Type I jail, so the first custody address is usually there rather than anywhere in Yucca Valley itself.
A licensed agent answers the phone at 3 a.m. on a Sunday the same way we answer at 3 p.m. on a Wednesday. Yucca Valley bookings do not wait for business hours, and neither do we.
English and Spanish-speaking agents on every shift. Premium, cosigner obligations, and payment terms get explained in the language your family actually speaks.
Most bonds under $100,000 are written on a qualified signature alone — no property, no pink slip. Above that, collateral may be requested depending on the charge and how the cosigner qualifies.
California fixes the premium at 10% of the bail. The down payment is what flexes — as low as 1% on approved credit, with the balance on a written plan.
California License #1846101, with a staffed office at 165 W Hospitality Ln Ste 19C, San Bernardino, CA 92408 covering Yucca Valley — a real office with real agents, not a national call center routing your case to a stranger.
A Yucca Valley arrest is a county Sheriff's arrest from the first minute, processed a few minutes east in Joshua Tree.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies working the Morongo Basin Station at 63665 Twentynine Palms Hwy, Joshua Tree, CA 92252, (760) 366-4175 make the arrest. Yucca Valley contracts its policing to the county rather than running an independent department, so there is no town PD stage. Prints, photograph, and record checks all have to clear before a bond can be accepted.
Bail is set from the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule adopted under Penal Code §1269b(c). There are no Cite and Release or Book and Release categories in this county — that structure belongs to Riverside. San Bernardino runs a conventional schedule where Section B generally does not require bail on misdemeanors unless the offense is specifically listed.
Call (909) 643-8359 with a full legal name and date of birth. We check the Yucca Valley city booking and the San Bernardino County system, tell you where they are right now, and read back the exact bail amount and premium before you pay anything.
A short cosigner conversation — employment, residence, and how the balance gets paid. Most approvals take minutes, and most Yucca Valley bonds require no collateral.
We post at the facility holding the defendant, whether that's the city jail or the county detention centers after transfer. Release from a municipal booking area is usually faster; the county facilities run a processing queue that can take several hours, longer on weekends and holidays.
The remaining premium is paid on the written schedule agreed up front. No surprise fees, and we remind you of every court date so the bond stays in good standing.
Bail amounts for Yucca Valley arrests come from the San Bernardino County Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule (effective January 1, 2026), the same county-wide schedule used for every other city in San Bernardino County.

The premium is fixed by California law. The down payment is where we can help.
Bail premium rates in California are filed with and approved by the Department of Insurance under Cal. Ins. Code §1800. A bondsman quoting a Yucca Valley family less than the filed 10% premium as the total cost is quoting something they can't legally deliver.
Once the bond is posted the premium is earned in full — whether the case is dismissed at arraignment or runs two years. That's the price of the surety, not a deposit held against the bail.
Down payments start as low as 1% of the bail on approved credit. The remainder of the 10% premium is financed on a written plan with fixed installments you agree to before signing.
Most Yucca Valley bonds under $100,000 are written on a qualified cosigner's signature. Larger bonds may call for collateral depending on the charge and the cosigner's file.
| Bail Amount | 10% Premium | Down At 1% |
|---|---|---|
| $20,000 | $2,000 | $200 |
| $50,000 | $5,000 | $500 |
| $100,000 | $10,000 | $1,000 |
The 1% figure is a down payment on approved credit, not a discounted premium — the full 10% is still owed on the payment plan. For the full 1% through 10% tier comparison and who qualifies for each, see affordable bail bonds.
Local custody happens in Joshua Tree. Anything that continues heads down Highway 62 and west into the valley.

Where Yucca Valley Arrestees Transfer
630 E Rialto Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92415
The county's downtown San Bernardino intake facility, well over an hour west, and the usual destination for a Morongo Basin hold that continues past local processing.
9500 Etiwanda Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739
The county's west-valley jail. Uncommon for a desert arrest, but classification, capacity, or an open hold in the west end can route someone there instead.
Have these ready and we can locate the booking — city jail or county — and quote the premium on the first call.

Not required, but if you have it, it speeds up locating the record considerably.

Family, friend, or coworker — helps us know who to loop in on updates and paperwork.
Bail is set by the San Bernardino County Superior Court schedule, not by the city — so a Yucca Valley booking starts from the same figures as one anywhere else in the county. The ranges below are county schedule ranges, not city-specific numbers.
County schedule range: $5,000 – $100,000
A first misdemeanor DUI sits at the low end of the schedule and can sometimes release on citation. Priors, injury, or a high BAC push the amount up fast.
View PageCounty schedule range: $50,000 – $100,000
Corporal injury filings book high and usually come with a protective order at arraignment. Release conditions matter as much as the bond — we walk cosigners through both before anything is signed.
View PageCounty schedule range: $10,000 – $100,000+
Simple possession books low and often qualifies for diversion. Possession for sale and transportation book far higher, and weight or priors move the number quickly.
View PagePC §240 / §245(a)(1)
County schedule range: $25,000 – $50,000
Simple battery books at the low end. Assault with a deadly weapon is a strike-eligible felony and books substantially higher, often with additional enhancements filed.
View PagePC §484/§487 and PC §459
County schedule range: $20,000 – $50,000
Petty theft books low; grand theft and first-degree residential burglary book substantially higher and carry felony jail or prison exposure. Burglary has its own dedicated page on this site.
View PageYucca Valley is a high desert town of roughly 21,000 people on Highway 62 in the western Morongo Basin, above the Coachella Valley and west of Joshua Tree. It is the basin's retail and service center — the supermarkets, the hospital access, and most of the commercial strip serving the surrounding desert communities are here.
There is no Yucca Valley Police Department. Law enforcement is contracted to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and provided by the Morongo Basin Station in Joshua Tree, which is the same station that covers Twentynine Palms. Two incorporated cities, one station, one phone number. We handle both, and the practical difference between them for a bail purpose is mostly driving distance.
Contract policing is the norm rather than the exception in this county, but it is not universal, and assuming wrong costs time. Barstow, Redlands, Colton, and Montclair all run independent departments. Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms, Adelanto, Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Highland, and Yucaipa do not. When you call us, the first thing we do is confirm which agency actually has the person rather than guessing from the city name on the arrest.
Yucca Valley cases are filed in the San Bernardino County Superior Court system with bail set from the county-wide schedule rather than any town rule. We are not naming a courthouse or department for a specific case on this page — the San Bernardino courthouse research is not finished, and we would rather leave a gap than invent an assignment. What we will confirm on the first call is whether the charge carries scheduled bail under the county bail schedule.
